Dunkerque Handball Grand Littoral

Founded in 1958, Dunkerque Handball Grand Littoral have been in the French top flight since 1991/92, an indication of their consistency at the highest level. Currently coached by Patrick Cazal, the club won the Lidl Starligue title in 2014, and also collected a Coupe de France, Coupe de la Ligue and a Trophée des Champions between 2011 and 2014.

Also known as USDK, the club finished sixth during 2017 - 2018 season, just missing out on qualification for the European Cup after losing to Montpellier Handball in their final match of the campaign.

On 2017-18 seaosn, as part of Round of 16 of Coupe de la Ligue, the Red and Blue had defeated USDK 34 - 23 at Coubertin, thanks to a stunning performance of Thierry Omeyer who made 22 saves.

Last year, Nedim Remili's teammates had defeated Dunkerque on Matchday 9 of the 2018/19 Lidl Starligue season, with a clinical 100% success rate shooting of Toft Hansen. The Parisians had defeated them 30 - 23 at Coubertin on Matchday 14, with 7 goals from Nedim Remili, best scorer for the Red and Blue.

This season, the Parisians was welcoming Dunkerque on matchday 13, last encounter of the first round. Mikkel Hansen and his teammates won their thirteenth match on Lidl Starligue 36-25. A perfect beginning of season for the Red and Blue! The return match will be held in March on matchday 19. After its victory over Gazélec Ajaccio, the Red and Blue will be receiving USDK as part of Coupe de France Round of 8, on March 7th or 8th, 2020.

Right back

Haniel Vinicius Inoue Langaro is playing as a right back for Dukerque Handball Grand Littoral since 2017. Haniel is a Brazilian player who started handball in Brazil before joining Logrono in Spain and Dunkerque. The match against Saran on December 6th, 2017 was one of his best matches with 10 goals scored.
A Brazilian international, he has already won two great titles : 2015 Junior Pan American Champion and 2016 Pan American Champion.
This season in Lidl Starligue he is one of the best scorers of the team.

Stade de Flandres

Dunkerque Handball Grand Littoral play their home matches at the Stades de Flandres, previously known as the Louis Dewerdt. Refurbished following the 2000/01 season and the World Championships held in France that year, it now has a capacity of 2,400 and is home to one of the best sets of supporters in France.
