Club Bruges KV

The Brugge Koninklijke Voetbalvereniging, commonly known as Club Bruges in French, is a Belgian football club founded in 1891 in Bruges. First club founded in Flanders and a true icon of Belgian football, it is regularly identified as "The Club", in order to differentiate it from the other club of the city, the Cercle Bruges. The Blauw in Zwart, or Blue and Black, have many rivalries, whether territorial with the Cercle de Bruges or La Gantoise, or sporting with Anderlecht.

Regarding its honours, Club Brugge has won so far 15 championships, 11 Belgian Cups, 15 Super Cups and have participated in two European Finals.

The club is chaired by Bart Verhaeghe since 2011. This season, the team is coached by Philippe Clément after his time on KRC Genk bench, with whom he won the Belgian title in 2018 -19.
