Quantcast

Stade De Reims

Founded in 1968, the Rémoise team is a pioneer in the development of women's football. Indeed, the Stade de Reims team competed in the Division 1 championship in 1974 and was a finalist in the first eight editions, with 5 French championship titles at stake. However, after a decline in the women's section, the club went into receivership in 1992.

It was not until 2014 that a women's team was born again in Reims, with Florent Ghisolfi as coach. On 2018-19 season, the Reims women won the French Division 2 champion title and were therefore joining the Division 1 Arkema championship in summer 2019.
